Etiquette Training for Children, Teens,
Young Adults and Adults
Etiquette with Miss Janice offers programs designed to
teach social and dining etiquette skills. These programs are designed
for various age groups and are offered several times throughout
the year. If you would like to be notified about future classes

~Modern
Manners for Children (Ages 4-7)
Manners make all the difference, and the importance of early
training cannot be overemphasized. Modern Manners for Children
is designed to teach etiquette to children ages 4-7. Using Catherine
the Mannerly Cat, a puppet, to entertain the children, the
program covers the following:
Introductions
Handshaking
Self-respect and respect for others

Conversation and listening skills
Telephone courtesies
The ABCs of table manners

This program includes a light tutorial lunch. Family involvement
is encouraged through take-home handouts for the children.
~Social and Dining Etiquette for Children
(Ages 8-12)
This is a fun-filled program designed to teach children a strong
foundation of good manners. My goal is to help children build
self-esteem and confidence in knowing how to conduct themselves
in social and dining settings.
The etiquette program covers the following:

Handshaking
Courtesies that count

13-17)
A strong foundation of good manners is important to learn at
any age, especially during the teen years. This program is designed
to teach students social and dining skills while improving their
image and increasing their self-confidence.

Name badge etiquette
Meeting persons with disabilities

Knowledge of business etiquette will enable young adults to project
confidence and social savvy on the job. This program is designed
to equip students with the leadership skills and dining skills
they can use now and for the rest of their lives.

Programs are available for Daisy, Brownie and Girl Scout Troops.
These programs may be custom designed for all age groups.
~Social and Dining Etiquette for Adults
Regardless of your social stature, you will find yourself in various
settings throughout your adult life which will require proper social
skills. Imagine being comfortable, able to converse, dine and interact
with persons of all ages with ease and self-confidence, never doubting
or second-guessing yourself. This program teaches etiquette, grace
and skills which may be used in virtually any social setting.

~Entertaining...Southern Style
From the invitations to the thank-you notes, this program is full
of tips to help you create those special events...Southern style.
Place setting styles (breakfast, lunch, dinner, buffet, and afternoon
tea) and types of service (plated, family-style, and french) are
covered, as well as ideas for themes and tablescapes. Make it oh-so
Southern and make it memorable!
~The Art of Creative Gifting
The presentation of a gift is just as important as the gift itself.
This program will provide you with appropriate gift ideas for any
occasion, creative wrapping suggestions, and embellishment demonstrations.
Attendees will receive a take-home binder full of ideas to help
make your gift special.
~Waitstaff Training
Make sure that your waitstaff is well trained in proper service
etiquette. Even if your food is exceptional, if the service is bad,
you will lose customers. This program is tailored to teach service
etiquette applicable to your specific style of diningfast
and convenient food, family-style dining, or French-style service.
