been born and brought up in Augusta, Georgia, the heritage of
the Deep South was instilled in me at an early age. My mother,
the epitome of a true Southern lady, would be satisfied with nothing
less than a daughter who was a proper young lady. Thus, my introduction
to social skills and graces began at a very early age. My education
in Southern etiquette began when I was barely able to walk
attending charm school, taking tap dancing and piano lessons,
and later attending the Henri Price Social Academy for four years.
My mothers love of entertaining had a great impact on me.
Her graciousness and prowess was reflected in the teas and luncheons
she would regularly host for my girlfriends and me. How very fortunate
I was, and am, to have her influence in my life.
I
now live at Tradition in Port St. Lucie, Florida, a village-style community with
all the amenities for which one could ask. Surrounded by restaurants, shoppes
and lovely homes, it is the ideal setting for entertaining
Southern-style.
Whether I am entertaining best-selling Southern author, Rhonda
Rich or entertaining family and friends, I use my expertise in
tea and etiquette to educate ladies and gentlemen in the art of
Social Graces...Southern Style.
Combining my upbringing in Southern hospitality, etiquette, and
social graces with my studies at the at the Protocol School of
Washington, and also with Sue Fox, author of Etiquette
for Dummies and Business Etiquette
for Dummies and owner of Etiquette Survival, I now offer
etiquette seminars, dining tutorials and
Entertaining...Southern Style programs.
